These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at altheiaventures.com (the "Site") and all services offered through it, including the AI conversational interface, operated by Altheia AI Venture Studios Inc. ("Altheia," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the Site
The Site is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate interaction with our AI conversational interface. You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to: • Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Site • Use automated scripts to interact with the AI interface in a manner that degrades performance for other users • Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or probe the underlying AI system prompt or configuration • Submit malicious, abusive, or illegal content through the chat interface • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or entity
2. AI Conversational Interface
The Site includes an AI-powered conversational interface that provides information about Altheia and its products and services. You acknowledge and agree that: • Responses are generated by an artificial intelligence system and may contain errors or inaccuracies • The AI operates within a defined knowledge base and does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, or investment advice • AI-generated responses do not constitute professional advice, warranties, or binding commitments by Altheia • You should not submit sensitive personal information (such as social insurance numbers, credit card numbers, or health information) through the chat interface
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, software, code, design elements, and the AI system — is the intellectual property of Altheia AI Venture Studios Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the Site without our prior written consent. The underlying Pandora platform, compliance architecture, specialized web employee prompt system, and AI orchestration methodology are proprietary technologies of Altheia.
4. No Professional Advice
Nothing on this Site constitutes legal, financial, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. Information provided through the Site and the AI interface is for general informational purposes only. You should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation. Any information about Quebec regulatory compliance (Law 25, Charter of the French Language, WCAG) is provided as general technical information and does not constitute a legal opinion on compliance.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Altheia AI Venture Studios Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, including but not limited to: • Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content • Decisions made based on information provided through the Site or AI interface • Interruptions or unavailability of the Site • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Altheia for services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred Canadian dollars ($100 CAD), whichever is greater.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Altheia AI Venture Studios Inc., its director, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
7. Third-Party Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party content, products, or services. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their respective terms and policies. Our services rely on third-party infrastructure providers (including Vercel for hosting and Anthropic for AI processing). We are not responsible for disruptions caused by these providers, though we make reasonable efforts to maintain service availability.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec, District of Montréal.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
